Alright. I have eggs of these coming in and questions.

I gleaned form the search option that these can eat a variety of leaves including oak, rose, blackberry, mulberry, and ivy.
That they live about up to a year.
That watering is via misting the sides of the enclosures and leaves.

My questions.

Egg incubation - What are the best ways to go about this? Setup explanations and pictures would be nice. :)
Incubation period – How long until a set/clutch (whatever fits you know what I mean) hatches?
Growth – How long until they get some size on them?
Cohabitation – Any issues with this? How many can live together in the average ten gallon aquarium? How long until I can and should move them to a larger enclosure?
Any tips/tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Pictures are Tops always.

And Thanks in advance. :)

Egg incubation - These type of eggs are sealed...just let them sit in a plastic container with a nylon stocking streched over the top for about 3 to 6 months. I misted one a week of so anyway to be safe through the sock. The fertilized eggs take half as long.

Growth : About 6 months if I remember correctly.

Cohabitation –
Turn the 10 gallon on it's side long side up. They eat like pigs so you gould put maybe 3 in. Once they are adult you fill figure it out. If you want many a 10 gallon is way to small though. This is why I now only raise the phyllium species leaf insects.

Do a forum search on "hot malaysian girl" and you can se a photo of my set up.
Have a good week end !!

Thanks :)

I Have an enclosure thats 36" wide, 30" tall and 7" deep.

I figured a bunch could be moved to that and put sets in smaller enclosures.

Thanks a bunch :)

Anytuhing on the bottom of the plastic container?
Paper towel or peat or somehting?
Or just on the bare plastic with a nylon top?

Nifty page by the way and Adorable "hot malaysian girl".

I place my stick insect eggs (ova) on dry coconut fiber and mist once in a while. Some eggs need to be kept from drying.
