After Approximately 8 Years......

Our 13 year old Leopard Gecko "Luna".......Laid 2 more Eggs!!

I know that this is Not exactly Big News, but, I have been told by Breeders around the Country - Like Gecko Etc's Steve Sykes - That this is Impossible!!

We got a male from them, for her, a Year and a 1/2 Ago......after 7 Years... Last Spring she laid a single Infertile Egg - Guess it's time 2 Fire-up the Hovabator This will be are last season of trying. We want her to live longer, but also want a baby from her, to carry on her beauty & memory.

The Eggs are indeed Fertile - Amazing! Still after All-these-years.....

Leo Gex are the most Fun creature for me to have Hatch :razz: Too Cute!!

I also, appreciate the regular phase most, because of the Leopard spots.

*Edit* Congrats on the egg bubba! My sister has a female.. We are going to try and breed them.. But I think they are still to young right now..

TY - The names if hatch will be SOLAR SYSTEM related, like LUNA and STELLAR....her 1st boyfriend was the biggest Leo I ever had....HELIOS

I was Told by Many experienced w/ the breed = "No way she'll even lay.....Let alone have a FERTILE egg!" It may be a Record for Female fertility. Still researching... I suggest every Gecko keeper start w/ this species for
Exp. Pts. and their overall enjoyment

I once YEARS ago, had a *pair* of 6 month old Tagerines {New @ the Time},
Breed in my HAND! Egg was Infertile....and the *pair* was never combined again....did Not do her health any benefit either - Just Happened.

Luna was around 22 months old when 1st mated. and I bred her for 3 years,
Then kept her alone.....Till Winter B 4 last. By far the Most Fun gecko to have hatch......also Fun are: Helmeteds, Days, Barkings, Cresteds, and Satanics :evil: Good Luck Tommy.
