Ist instar

I've got some P.regalis in the eggs with legs stage.How long before (approximately) before they molt 1st instar?..2nd instar?They're presently at day 33 and doing well....peace..

Depends on temp bro,i run at 86 dgrees, at that temp, if they are at vestigal eggs/legs stage, youre looking at 10 to 14 days, to 1st to 2nd instar from there another 10 to 14 days. If temp is lower longer. Probably some will disagree but ive been at this a long time ive seen the difference temp has on development.In my experience.

p.s. dont keep opening and reclosing the sac, check it again in 10 to 14 days if running at 86 .congratulations bro,
