My Mother ownes a pet store here in Mi. Up in the office there are a couple windows. She was looking out one summer afternoon and noticed a huge mantis on the screen looking back at her. She opened up the window and it came in onto the window sill. She said she thought it looked hungry. ( You know how moms are ) so she got a cup of small feeder crickets and held it out for it. It reached in and took one, then another. She sat with it while it ate for about 10 minutes, then it cruised right back outside and was gone.
