i put 2 cubes of the orange 3 cricket food (for those of you who don't know it is a food/water/vitamin thingi) in my cricket keeper about 50 hrs ago. the cubes seem half their original size, and dried up. i have 20 crickets in there.

how often do you replace the cubes?

You can always pick them out and float them in water to get them filled back out if they dried, but if eaten, replace as needed.

I personally would just puy the polymer crystals from a garden supply store and make them yourself without the color for much cheaper price than what Flukers is getting from you... Check out this

Magic Gardening Soil

2lbs of that plus water and you likely will have enough to last your crickets and roaches for a year, and if you get some aquarium type water soluble vitamins, then you've got everything you need for them... Well save for food, as I'm not exactly sure what Flukers has soaked up in there that is much more than a liquid. I guess it would be filling though having the polymer particles floating in your belly  :D

Might ought let Weight Watchers and dieters everywhere in on that secret ;P
