Hey all,
Okay, I learned about tarantulas by asking unfounded and panicky questions in this forum. I'm not done, aparantly. Brazilian Blacks are slow growers, everyone on this forum knows that, but Peso hasn't moulted since February. Currently, though I'm not expert on measuring, I would say he/she is about 2.5". I understand I need to exercise patience, but February!? That's a long time. He seems to be in pre-moult, but that's been since August, and nothing has surfaced.
I know that it's just a fact of the species, which you will all probably tell me in a moment. Maybe I just wanted to voice that.
Thank for listening,
Paul

I wouldn't be too worried about it. Grammostola in general pretty slow growers. With most tarantulas, the molts get farther and farther apart as they grow, and with slow growers, those spans can get pretty wide!
