question about cricket removal

my T. blondi (4 inch) ate 3 crickets about 3 hrs ago, and i'm looking for their carcasses so that i can remove them....


i know the T took them into her den, but i can't find them...

do they burry these things or sumthing?

It doesnt leave carcess's it digests everything but the exoskelton of the cricket wish is bundled up and masacated until its a lil black bal. sometimes its devoured to hte point that you can not see the pieces of exoskeleton scattered around.

yea all i can see is dirt... will this eventually be a problem in terms of keeping the tank clean?

cricket clean-up

One of the nice things about keeping tarantulas is the minimal amount of clean up required. Some of my tarantulas leave a small ball of cricket remains behind and i remove them with a pair of tweezers. Most leave nothing......

I have never had a mite problem due to the remains left after a meal of crickets. They consume most of the cricket and if anyting is left you usually can't see it or it will be in a small bundle waiting for disposal.
