Does anyone have the species that had been sold a few years ago in the States as Schizopelma bicarinatum? I have a Bonnetina rudloffi, and I am told that they are probably the same spider... A.K.A Blue Femur Beauty

Yes

They're both different species. B.rudloffi is a slightly different than
bicarinatum...I think I read this on this French site - and saw pictures of the no-no parts of the rudloffi( I forget which site though:(). Also Rick West in his sight has several pictures that show the difference between the two.. - Either way they're both beauties - There's a lot of species called blue femurs - I think they're all great. my favorite - Eauthlus sp. "pulcherrimaklaasi"

have a nice day

Of course they are two different species, but technically, I guess the spider imported as S. bicarinatum a few years ago was not the real deal.

It turned out to be a diffrent species eventually described as B. rudloffi by F. Vol.
