Well I'm still a noob when it comes to my Avicularia but I'm really trying to learn how to properly take care of her. LPS said I could take care of her like my G.Rosea's lol But thanks to you guys she's in a proper set up now.
Not sure which "she" is and I believe "she's" not mature yet or sexed lol

That is one superb shot of the Avicularia diversipes. I never see pics of that species that are that good. You should put that pic in the gallery.

Yes, the same species that was commonly exported and sold as Avicularia sp. "Peru purple" is now commonly showing up as "A. urticans".
This name cycle with some Avics repeats itself over the years. It may be easier to export an "identified" species... hence pegging the name A. urticans on them.
Eric
LMAO!!! Do you know how long I have been trying to correctly ID this species. It all makes sense now. So are you positive on Sp. peru?
Edit:
Can anyone tell me the difference between the one I posted, A.urticans and A.sp Peru?
Here is a link.

Thanks Juan. Just to clear this up, my specimens were wild caught from Peru.

Just got a message for Rick West. I asked about his pictures and compared them to mine. This is what he said:
"Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing from an image. This species
'appears'
to be Avicularia urticans."
