Roach Question

My feeder roaches have this white powder looking substance under them. What should i do? Is this safe to feed to my T's?

I'd have to see a picture, but I can tell you that my daughter's hissers have a white substance on them that looks something like hard water deposits. I'll see it on them off and on for months and it has had no effect on them.
