well as you probably knew..i was getting a desert hairy scorpion, but i was informed that it was dying, soo i had this lil white knee cutie! i *tried* measuring her..she got a lil skittish so i moved it away slightly..the legspan is about 4.5 to 6cm and the body length is around 5cm..roughly..as we get more attached i will measure *him* (by the size of his palps) on my hand..although i heard this one can b a lil aggresive so that wont b for a while!
;P lol well im so happy!:D

Nice spider!! :D
You will love her for sure. This is one of the best species in my opinion :) Grows very fast, eats like crazy and is almost always in the open.
Mine is rather not aggressive, but likes to attack water drops when I moist her enclosure... :D
Good luck with your new T :)

Give her 3 or 4 large crickets and wait till you see her pick them off like an assasin, awesome colours on these beauties, and they grow very large, make sure they dont mistake you for food!=D :) :D

I do not know what kind of stuff you have got over there in the UK but probably there is no big difference comparing to this what we have got here in Poland... :)
I use for all my T's coconut substrate. This works really good :D

I have 1 approx. 2-1/2 to 3" - can't wait for her to get big and beatutiful. Getting me excited! woo hoo!
coconut fiber blocks work well, I think it's called eco earth.
My white knee does not really show much aggression but i wouldn't want to test her as she can move fast.

That would be correct. I have a male, about 4 inches. When he was smaller he would climb over my hand when I was doing cleaning in his house. Now I do it with the tweezers. His attitude has changed quite dramatically since his last moult, he is not fooling around anymore. He attacks and kills his crickets, tosses them around for a while and then eats them. Sometimes he just tosses them around for a while and batters them before he eats them without killing them first. My husband says he plays with his food. Personally, before he started doing that, I had never felt sorry for a cricket. I do now.
However, they are quite beatiful, never hide, and eat like horses. Great choice for a display T.

Beautiful T. Mine is only about 1.25" right now. I can't wait until it gets as big as yours!
