GREAT SALE

I bought 2 (f) H.lividums and 1 (m) G.aureostriata from Keith Northrop at Chameleon Counters. The websit is well put together with lots of pictures, however, they do not list all their available animals on it, you have to call or look for them in the classifieds on the boards. The price I was charged was very competitive and maybe more reasonable than some. Shipping was by FEDEX and came when it was supposed to come. Communication was great through every step of the sale. I look forward to seeing some tarantula additions to their website. I will do business with these folks again - gladly.=D

I bought my female Eupalastrus campestratus from them in Nov' 2001. Great service! I was very pleased with their business practice. Good communication, and very prompt, fast shipping. The spider was 4.5" at the time, and advertised as a captive bred bred female. She arrived healthy, all limbs intact, and continues to be in great health. She did have a bald patch, but they told me about that before I bought, so they were above-board on that. Over-all, a smooth, professional transaction.

Great job! Chameleon Counters. I have known Keith and Sandra for a while both are great to work with. If you need a tarantula take a look at there list. It's not the biggest on the web..( yet),but you can get a well feed healthy animal when you purchase from them. Keith great job buddy keep it up.:worship:

I drove up to Chameleon Counters from Austin. Keith and Sandra were great. All of their animals seemed well fed and cared for. It's rare to find a pet store with such a great selection of T's. I got my first T from them. "Betty Lou" the greenbottle blue has been wonderful to watch as she grows and gets her color. I think it's time for another trip up to Copperas Cove!

i bought 1 A. australis, 1 flat rock, and 1 desert hairy scorpion from them, as well as my very first scolopendra subspinipes, the shipping was pricey...but i definately got what i paid for! good, healthy bugs.

What can I say Keith Northrop is a genuine pleasure to conduct business with. The communications were quick and professional. I ordered 12 Centruriodes vittatus what arrived was a package professionally packed with icepack and healthy lively flawless scorpions without a single DOA in greater number than I had purchased. No head count just yet. Shipping was a tad pricier via UPS (12:45 PM) but nothing higher than I had ever paid with other less satifactory dealings in the past. Me so happy! :D

Once again a satisfactory transaction, my package arrived not more than 45 minutes ago. I had a brief pleasant phone conversation with Keith yesterday, a very funny and very nice gentleman to arrange the shipping and it's costs.

I had re-sorted some of my collection and felt compelled to order more Texas Bark Scorpions additionally with a beautiful big "gnarly" ;) S. heros castaneiceps too. CC does indeed collect the scorpions locally and many of the individuals I received today are exceptionally dark and striking. A no lose bargain.

All arrived alive and healthy.

CC is local to me, so I go there in person, GREAT shop, all their staff(3 i beleive) are VERY knowledgeable about everything they sell. I bought my second P. Imperator from them(my first was a gift) and brought my first one in to be sexed. The prices here are great compared to anything in the region, not to mention they actually keep their animals correctly. I can't count how many pet stores I've been too with P. Imperators kept on carpet or sand with humidity @ 40-50%. This place does right by all their animals. They also have a large selection of used stuff in the back for VERY nice prices for anyone who needs to make a budget enclosure. I go here for all my cricket and feeding needs, matter of fact its that time of the week :)
