I have purchased a starter colony of Giant Cave Roaches! I was wondering if I could use lizard liter as substrate? Im not sure what its made from, it seems to be corn cobs ground up! You can find it in most pet stores!

It's probably fine. I avoid "aromatic" woods like cedar and pine for invetrebrates, but I don't think that's in lizard litter.

You could also try peat moss, vermiculite, potting soil, top soil, natural leaf litter, newspaper or nothing at all. Most cockroaches do OK without any, but those blabs might benefit from something to burrow in.
