So My daughter and I are about to join the wonderful world of T keepers, and we're in the midst of doing research so our little guy or gal is well kept. While pricing a standar 10 gallon tank from different stores, we noticed the store we were in had two G Rosies, about 2" DLS, in seperate enclosures, and one was looking quite bad. Here's a couple pics.

That is dead so the nightmare is over. It looks like dehydration got it.

Sadly that little guy a girl has passed away. Sorry being new into the hobby but this is what pet stores do.

That's very sad. Looks like it's been dead at least a while, too.

One thing that angers me again about the pic is the rubbish it's on. Fangs and tarsal claws will easily get stick on that fabric just like carpet.

That sucks, but unfortunately it happens alot. Not all petshops are bad, but a great number of them know nothing about T care.

That looks more like it was cooked than dehydrated. The abdomen isn't shriveled, it melt. And it's still for sale?!?
