Is my sling too fat?

....I know they (birdeaters) are known for their bottomless pit behaviour but pictures/sites I've seen suggest that the abdomen is smaller than the carapace..and my guys suure isnt haha.

I don't want him ending up on Supersize VS Superskinny or anything so thought I'd heed some advice.

It's fine, no worries.
I keep mine @ least that big all the time.

Looks good to me. I would consider a t with an abdomen smaller than the carapace to be too thin. Unless maybe it was a MM.

I swear I read their abdomens are thinner haha.

Wish he'd hurry up and molt though =(.

Any indications if hes close? Im rubbish at guessing.

That's generally the size I like to keep my slings at. I think of it as a little bit plumper for the small guys since it will help them grow faster to a "safer" size.

As far as molting, I see nothing about that sling that indicates a molt. Maybe increase the humidity and up the feeding ever so slightly if you wanna get it a little bigger quicker?
