Came across this turantula.. what sp?

Hi, there I have been on this forum off and on for information on scorps and centipedes (which I owned). I went on a hike in northern California and came across this tarantula. It is light brown throughout and no markings. Is it a California Blonde? It is truly impressive seeing a turantula in its habitat!

Do any of you collect turantulas from the wild? I am tempted to bring a container the next time I go exploring :]
