Anybody got any info or pics on this species? I pulled it up on google and it had a few pics but no info on it really so I'm skeptical if the pics showed the actual T or just something else, you know (un)reliable google can be. I'm assuming it's not in the hobby anywhere but still would be nice to at least know about it and see what it looks like for sure.

I find that interesting, I was unaware that there were any subspecies of tarantulas. Then again, I never really looked over the entire list in detail, only for quick glances of what I need to know.

After a quick scan of the list of the WSC, here is a list of all tarantulas that are currently described as subspecies:
Avicularia avicularia variegata
Hysterocrates affinis angusticeps
Hysterocrates robustus sulcifer
Lasiodora trinitatis pauciaculeis
Phoneyusa bidentata ituriensis
Selenocosmia javanensis brachyplectra
Selenocosmia javanensis dolichoplectra
Selenocosmia javanensis fulva
Selenocosmia javanensis sumatrana
Stromatopelma calceatum griseipes

Also interestingly(but a thread jack), there is no listing in the WSC for Theraphosa stirmi... Wasn't there a published paper? The WSC has Pterinochilus lapalala listed, and I feel like T. stirmi was described before P. lapalala, but my timeline in my head might be off...
