My I. mira sling that I just got last Wednesday molted overnight! WooHoo! It was about 3/4", I have no idea how big it is now, since it is holed up in its burrow. First time I've had a molt! I guess I'm doing something right. I'm glad I did research before I got any T's, or I probably would have thought the shed was a dead T, esp. since the live one is hiding out of sight now. The molt was picture perfect; the carapace even popped open like a lid, just like all the book illustrations I've seen! I just wish I hadn't slept through it. :eek:oh: So, when should I try feeding it? I know you don't have to wait as long for slings as for older T's. This weekend maybe?

Wait a week before feeding. The general rule of thumb is to wait till the fangs turn black, but I would wait a week to be safe. Grats on the molt though, it's always awesome to wake up to a fresh molt laying next to your T.
