Does anybody have any idea where to find one?? Internet searching has led me nowhere! I'm looking for something affordable to use as a background for my beardie tank. It could be a flat desert photo wallpaper, sculpted foam "rock", whatever works. I've found plenty of items like these but not in the right size. Help, please!

Another idea--you could just paint the back wall of the aquarium (from the outside). I've always done plain black or blue but I also have no talent at art.

Why don't you just try making one. There's a lot of DIY ideas on Youtube on making aquarium backgrounds. I've tried the one where they carved foam and painted layers of concrete over it. It worked nicely. I've done this to my African cichlids tank, my frog/gecko terrarium, my snake terrariums, and my tarantula enclosures. For beardies, you might want to add extra layers of concrete though. I'm just not sure how strong they can be and they might be able to scratch their way right into the styrofoam.

Ive done the same works out nice....also if you throw riverbed sand on the top after a coat of paint the texture is really nice.

Making my own IS a good idea, but I live in an apartment and possess absolutely no tools or supplies. I'm afraid buying all the stuff necessary to make it might be more expensive (and impractical) than simply buying something premade. Nevertheless, I'll look into it.

Nah, its crazy cheap. Just need some silicone, triple expanding foam, coco fiber and a knife. If you want to get really into it grab some wood too.

Ill keep that in mind! The only reason I hesitate to put much effort into this tank is that it's just temporary. I know my two little beardies will soon outgrow it, and I'm saving up my money and effort for their permanent enclosure(s). But making a backdrop for this cage from scratch might be good practice!

Here's a place in Oregon that makes backdrops for tanks: http://www.designsbynature.net/

These are their 20 gallon long ones:
