Thank you all for the compliments! The discus fish are kept in soft water for breeding with no salt.

I've worked with fish and tank maintenance but just haven't set anything up at home yet. I want to do a planted tank project with a Acrochordus javanicus file snake but we're still settling into our new house. I'm a nerd, though--I love working with fish because of balancing the water chemistry as much as the living art it provides.

Beautiful fish! Do you keep many other fish? I would love to see more pics if you do.
I also think your photography skills are just fine, I find fish to be tricky to get pics of. Every time I photograph our tank, I only get a small handful of pics that I actually like.

I find them pretty relaxing to keep. I do keep a few fish tanks. I also find If I get a picture or two to come out acceptable I am happy. If I get any more decent photo's I will post them.
