well, rescued out of my skylight anyway. it got stuck in the skylight and finally hung up in some spiderwebs so i pulled it out, cleaned it off and took it outside. i had to give him a little nudge after i took the pic so he realized i wasn't gonna eat him but he took off like a shot when he figured it out:biggrin:

Nah, it wasn't up there long. Only a couple minutes.

This was the second time it's happened, same sp too.

I've also found a western toad and a pocket gopher of some kind in my house, I'm not even counting the critters the dogs and cat drag in.

very cool. i found one against the bottom of a building when i was young. looked like it broke its neck. it was still alive though. it lasted about 3 days.

Skippy, Nice li'l Selasphorus- Rufous/Allen's-prob adult female/ (hy male?)- and glad you were able to help it out!! We had record numbers of wintering hummingbirds in Louisiana this season- well, mainly south Louisiana. I lucked up on a very dull female Calliope in Shreveport a couple weeks ago- but as it turns out, it was but a two-day wonder.........
