I was pretty worried about my bichir, but since the worms hes been fine, nothing wrong what so ever.

I found this worm the other day and though he'd want one seeing as i havent been able to catch one lately, but it was only when i dropped it into the tank did it extend to twice the size. I only use ones half this size normally, i was already recording and he was already moving in so i figured i'd just grab it if he struggles. But a minute later it was gone :)
I still wont be feeding him one that size again. Whats the rule for using worms as food?
Havent found anywhere online that has said.

I have no idea about the prey size etc. but you have one very cool fish ;).

By the way, I wouldn't use wild caught prey for anything, pesticides etc.

they can eat pretty large prey. Mine is just about 3" but he eats fish as large as adult neons. The only worms I have ever fed have been bloodworms.
