I think roughly 90 emerged from the egg (they cannibalize each other while in the sac). I let this number decline to 10 through cannibalism and then separated them. Apparently this method maximizes females (more fit than males) and will ensure that the survivors are the strongest of the lot.

Great great pics.What camera is it, and what did you feed them??
Canon A70.
I feed them crickets of various sizes, the smaller the better, but it doesn't matter. I put the crickets in the freezer to kill them pretty quickly. I then put the dead cricket in the web and the spiderling then consumes as much as possible and I remove the cricket. Pretty easy really, time consuming though.....
