I was just there yesterday and they finally just about finished the new store, I over heard one of the guys say something like 10,000 square feet, so its pretty big and its set up like a zoo, with lots of animals on display, actually a nice touch, alligator pits been done for a while, the place is really nice, and there are lots of employees around to help you with purchases and questions.
I got 4 scorps yesterday, and back in august I bought about 7, then 7 again around november, never once had a problem with them, always nice, anwering my questions
I read a previous post about them, which im assuming was the older store on Washington street, their new huge store is off of Broadway on I-95, I made the mistake by going to the washington street one as well, but the new place is huge and just fun to walk around, besides, if you spend more then $200 you get a free membership and can go in anytime with a person, or if you just wanna bring the kids and show them neat animals, ya gotta pay to get in, but its a nice way to bring the place business and visitors
good prices on animals also, the invert guys always rocked and were kick ass people who knew their stuff, was a pleasure talking to them about things i didnt yet understand, when i was a newb, now i have 4 A Australis, P liosoma, P transaavlicus, 3 C Gracilis and getting some A Bicolor soon
anyone who doesnt know what that means, those are fairly dangerous scorpions, not for newbs
I recomend them to anyone, because Connecticut can not sell Tarantulas or Scorpions, it makes for a nice drive to Providence to get my animals, only 90 minutes from hartford area
