Forgive my ignorance, but what is the common name for L. magdalene? Where does this spider originate from? I need some details guys! :}

Don't know if it has a common name, don't really like common names myself, they are often quite confusing...
Anyway, the full name is Linothele magdalene and I believe it originates from South America, but I'm not sure.

I don't care much for common names either, but when I did a google search on just L. magdalene, I got a bunch of religious stuff, so I was wondering about other names this spider may go by.

it's a Linothele, a funnelwebbing spider fron Brazil. it was bought as L. magdalene, but platnick does not use this name anymore.....
