I found this site, www.roachdomain.com and sister site, serv-allroaches, 5-6 weeks ago. I saw interesting species of exotic roaches on the main site, and the sister site has the more common species at discounted prices. And the sites also list monthly specials. I contacted Ken to check if they still had the specials, received a reply that morning that they all were available still. Paypal is accepted, shipping is buyer choice of Priority or Express mail... Weather is perfect for shipping, so I had no worries about heat related problems, ordered 3 doz Discoids and some Hissing nymphs

My package arrived on the planned date, 3 weeks later as per my request, and all were well and active. The Hisser nymphs were in a small deli cup packaged among the many sheets of crumpled packing paper the Discoids were well protected among. The Discoids consisted of about 12 adults and the rest over ½ grown nymphs, so it looks like the wait for them to be a renewable feeding colony should be somewhat faster than usual. The Hissing nymphs have a longer period a head of them for doing things like being pampered. I had a small pet group of 3 adults, 4 nymphs, and couldn't resist adding nymphs to boost this little group, particularly when you get 12@$2 on special

Check them out, lots of different species, and normal types to start or replenish your colonies. I found them quick to respond, answered my questions, packaged them very well, hard to beat prices, and well started roaches.

I'll buy more from them in the future!!

After 1 or 2 email exchanges with Ken, I knew I would be satisfied with ordering from here. Emails were friendly and prompt, and always informative. The pricing was very reasonable....I think I found one other place with comparable prices, but they never responded to email, which I find very annoying. Ken was responsive to my questions via email, the same day in each case, as I recall. I ordered a starter kit which included 2 types of roaches (hissers and discoids), a reasonably good beginner's book, and a copy of Invertebrates Magazine. It seems every bug dealer gives freebies these days, but Ken went above and beyond by offering me several choices, including some nymphs of the more exotic roaches. I just wanted to establish some basic feeder colonies, so chose to get some extra discoidalis, but it seems this place would be great for finding some of the less common stuff, as well as the hobby standards. He was also quite accomodating as far as shipping arrangements. Everything arrived very quickly, as promised. All roaches were healthy, and there was a small overcount to boot. All in all, a very positive experience, and I will be buying from RoachDomain again!

I was looking to get some slightly rarer roaches than what I had (B. Craniifer) and decided I'd shop around. I went to Roachman's site and looked through his stock, emailed him a question, and to this day (A few weeks time) I still haven't gotten a response. I've delt with him before and he was great, but this time, I never got anything.

Ken, on the other hand, responded to a post I made on AllPet's Roach forums and was always quick to respond to the 2,000,000 questions I had. (There were a total of 31 emails between the two of us, mostly me asking questions.)

In the end, I purchased 2 Bullet Roaches, 2 dozen (And change) Hissers, and 2 Red and Black roaches. I received 5 Red and Blacks total (3 freebies). Doesn't sound like much, but they aren't the cheapest roaches out

The package took two days to arrive because with my location, USPS is less reliable than tying the package to a paper airplane and throwing it. (He overnighted it, but they couldn't guarantee next day with my location, although FedEx and UPS never had a problem) But that's my rant against USPS, nothing against Ken. They came very well packaged, every single one was alive.

And now they're all sitting om my computer desk. The Hissers are *very* active. The Red and blacks are tiny, but still eatting. And it appears the bullet is already dropping an egg case.


I'd definitely shop there again and recommend him to everyone.

I wanted to get some red & black roaches, and the people I normally have gotten from didn't have any. So I figured I send some mail to Ken after I found his page. Ken is prompt and courteous. I don't think I have ever had such a friendly experience when asking questions about the insects I was interested in. I received the roaches as told in perfect condition. Ken is definitly someone whom I will buy from again.

I had ordered nymphs but Ken had to substitute adults to process my order. How nice is that!

So far I've purchased some roaches from roachdomain.com twice, and each time has been GREAT! Roaches are clean, healthy and in great shape. Speedy replies to emails, and paypal accepted. Shipping is also very quick. They care about their inverts and it shows. I'll DEFINATELY purchase from them again, and would recommend to anyone looking for any of the animals they carry!!!

Ken really helped me get my roach collection going. I was looking at www.roachdomain.com and noticed the giant hisser morph....I like my inverts big so I just have to have a collony!
Sent Ken an email and he just happened to have adults ready to go! This really helps to get adults when wanting to breed. Order went out the next Tuesday morning, recieved them Wednesday at 3:00PM ! Hissers are huge and were packed great....even labeled.
If you like exotic roaches give him a try. :D

Just a quick note to present my first dealings with Ken of Roach Domain. I have kept inverts since the early 90s and have used roaches for tarantula and scorpion food since the early days. I never dreamed I'd be keeping roaches as pets. When I spent some time on Ken's site and looked over his amazing photos and offerings, I was hooked. My first order was Costa Rican Zebras, Harlequins, and African Bullets. They arrived in perfect condition thanks to Ken's thoughtful packing and shipping techniques. I look forward to adding a few more species to my collection in the coming months. Roach Domain is one of those companies that anyone interested in exotic inverts should feel very comfortable in approaching - I am sure you will be pleased with their bugs and service.

Two thumbs up for Roachdomain.com

About a few months back after reading much on cockroaches I decided Hissers just weren't enough for my collection, it was time to expand. I spent a couple of weeks looking at a few sites that sold roaches, and I have to admit Roachdomain caught my eye quicker than the rest. I decided to e-mail with simple inquiries on roaches knowing that if I bought any it would have to be the Porcelain Roach. Ken responded with amazing speed and was and has been very personable and informative ever since, before I knew it I was putting my money order in the mail. Ken notified me when he recieved my money, let me know when the critters would ship, and e-mailed me a tracking number after they shipped. I went with the overnight shipping and the next day had a box in my hand with a dozen Porcelain nymphs inside. The little guys were packed nice and snug, (to tell you the truth the concept of sending live creatures by mail made me a little nervous, after receiving them though my fears are laid to rest by the skill in which they were packaged) and all twelve were there.
After experiencing such amazing customer service and proffesionalism I know that I will be doing more business with Ken in the future, my hat's off to you Ken for putting Roachdomain together.
