The owner, Phil, is knowledgeable about all of the animals that they sell in the store, particularly with the lizards and invertebrates. I have purchased 2 tarantulas from this store, my first, a G. Rosea i have had for over 6 months, and she was in wonderful shape when i bought her. I recently purchased a Brazilian White Knee from this store, and it seems to be in very good health as well. Phil was helpful in selecting the healthiest of the Brazilian white Knee tarantulas for me, as well as helping me to decide which species I should purchase. BUT i have edited the above rating as the spider i just purchased died today (3 days after purchasing), I'm not entirely sure if i would recommend people buy any Tarantulas from there.

They have a reasonably large selection of Tarantulas for a generic pet store, though their prices are overly high on some species. Their invertebrates are seeminglywell taken care of, well fed, and provided water constantly.

Before I had purchased my B. smithi I had asked about the B. smithi sling that Phil had. The lady I assume his wife was the only one available. I asked to see the tarantula before purchase. It was dead in the little medicine bottle shrunken abdomen and all. After that I have a look but dont touch/buy rule with regards to Tails n Teeth.
