H. maculata balding?

My H. mac seems to be balding. Should this be happening? and why, they are old world T's. Anyone ever seen this? :?

My H. Mac. Started balding Before it molted. Hell it stopped wenbbing and lost a spinerette in the molt and am still unsure why. I believe they loose theirh air do to rubbing from their legs or what not.. perhaps someoen more wise oculd chip in..
