Color differneces in P. irminia sexes

At about what size does the black/grey color difference become evident in suntigers? Is this a fairly reliable way of sexing them?

I dont think you can sex p irminias by looking at their colour best way it to look the the underneath. If you can take some decent pictures of the ventral part, we can help you sex it

The change only take place in the male and only in there maturing molt, it will happen when they are around 4"-4-1/2" and then after the molt they will be about 5"-5-1/2" most of there new growth will be there legs, they will lost there orange and be a grayish green, so basically if you have a suntiger @ 5" and still has it orange it is most likely a female, other than that they pretty much have to be sexed like any other T. Greg
