I just wondered, when one of my tiyn-T's (or any T for that matter), decides to molt, will it come out of its burrow to do so? If not, is it o.k. leave it wher ever it is? An aquard position wont affect the molt, will it?

i know molting in a water idsh would be bad but that is oddly funny. can you picture it? an upside down T in a water dish, especially if you use soda caps like i do for some of my T's... {D

Actually my A.geniculata molted once in water dish...despite the fact, that there was some water inside.
Sorry no photo.
She made A LOT of web and bang! Molted.
Humidity was fine, so it wasn't an issue.

I got my first T - an Avicularia - from Petco. The next morning I came in and found a moult on top if the cotton in the water dish with hm/her right next to it. Guess that was the moistest and therefore most comfortable place in the cage.
