I keep woodlice in the tanks with most of my t's. Due to the fact they keep the tanks tidy. I have read in Schultz's book (the Tarantula Keepers Guide) that T's usually dont bother to eat them, but today I found my B.Smithi sling munching on one. Has anyone keeping these with their T's, ever come across this?

Hi,

I have woodlice in all of my humid tanks too, a small tropical species: >>click here<<
It's a small species, arround 5 mm bodylength => too small to be recognized as food from a average sized theraphosid. But at times I use them as food for tiny spiderlings.

all the best,
Martin

i made a topic about this in the insect forum. my smaller Ts and scorps eat them all the time. but my monsters like the L.parahybana don't go for them.
