Finally, after 3 years, G.rosea molting right now.

My adult female rosea, that's been on hunger strike for 2 years and not molted for 3 years has finally flipped over.

What a relief.

I'll take photos of the fresh appearance in the morning. Everyone wish her luck!

Good luck I hope the molting is a success and wow thats a long time for a molt.

First pic is how I found her last night.
Second pic is how I found her this morning, all slow and floppy.
Last pic shows that she's female. Not a suprise at her age.

Hurrah! A successful molt! Now maybe in a couple of days she might fancy a snack.

congratulations!

she's quite lovely! you must be so proud, and I bet *she* feels a lot better now, too. I think I would! :)

One more pic. Here's the old exuvium on my hand for a sense of scale. I'm an adult man. The exuvium is very lifelike isn't it?

I'm looking forward to seeing how big she's become, once she stretches out.
