My P.murinus RCF was mated 10 days ago. On the second try she ate the male. She was well fed before the mating. She is taking every crick I give her now, 5 today. Is her appetite a good indication that she is going to have an egg sac? If she has a sac do I continue to feed her?

It's a good sign. Feed her much. My friends murinus made an eggsack 1.5 month after the mating.

No sac yet? I think Brian has an OBT who is laying a sac from that same male as I write this. Have fun getting the sac away from that one!

I think you still feed them when they are brooding, because you don't want them to eat the eggsac themselves.

speaking of the OBT. I just saw mine tonight for the first time is a very long time. Clearly, it is a male. I either need to get a female or send it away. I think i might get a female.
