Whilst feeding some of my spiders tonight i just thought id snap a couple of pictures of my adult female curly hair tarantula that ive had for almost 7 years. she was mature and adult size when i was given her so shes sort of getting on i think. Still eats like a horse though and i have had two egg sacs from her in the past. one of which successfuly hatched and produced nearly 500 spiderlings
i do NOT condone handling spiders due to the risk to the spider and handler but ive had this spider a number of years and have a very good idea of her disposition and i very, very rarely handle spiders although i have and always will on occasion handle certain spiders in my collection. Some of you wont agree with this but that is up to u.
