This is a new member of the family as of today from John and Eric at E-Spiderworld. Her name is Elvira, mistress of the night, and she is gorgeous. The first thing that she did when she got here was to clean her front pads underneath a very healthy set of fangs just like a cat grooming herself to look fabulous. So everyone say hi.

I sure can't wait ...

til Calusa looks like that - although at this point, at least he/she looks like a Trinidad Chevron instead of an anonymous sling!! I am sure hoping it's a girl ... and I am thinking pink!!!!

I love Elvira dearly but there is know way on God's green earth that I would let her be crawling up my hand. How do you do it? I have a L. parahybana that just goes all over my hands and arms and will probably do that to some greater or lesser degree when she (Taz) in 10". But she just poops on me. P. cambridge can have a fairly nasty bite.
