I've read from a few sources about the legendary monster, with a full-grown body length of 11cm, or a legspan of 11 inches! When I first came to this place, I had the impression that Chaco's are the biggest of them Grammostola's.

Now this beast in question was once called pulchripes (Simon 1891)or roquetti (Mello-Leitao 1923). Officially the World Spider Catalog (last updated 12 Jun 2004) put those in synonymy with mollicoma. I've also read about pulchra and grossa being sold as pulchripes. Or could it be a sub-order of the goliath actaeon?

I don't think anyone here has a full grown G. mollicoma, do you? And since they are "very rare" in the hobby, is there a known trusted bloodline?
