Off the top of my head, I'd say a wolf spider, probably a Hogna sp. if you're in the US. Pics kinda blurry though, so I won't put any money on it.

almost my friend, my spider senses tell me that you have a possible MALE Rabidosa rabida (rabid wolf spider). they get BIG. they are all over the place around here. good luck with him.
