whip scrop, no whips

1 of our whip scorpions lost both her whips a few months ago. now another has lost one of his whips. it doesnt actually seem to be causing them any problems. any ideas why they might be losing them?

No, but when I got mine it was missing a whip as well, but it regenerated it with the next molt.

Mostly fights between other TWS can cause damage to the whips. If wild caught it could have happened during its capture. I have one that has no whips and it is doing fine. They will be regenerated next molt.
