Positive
They're more of a fish/dog store (they have barracudas!) but they do carry at least 2 tarantulas at all times. The workers are'nt afraid to handle the rosies they get in, but they won't touch the Cobalt Blue they have.
They are'nt fully up to speed on taking care of the tarantulas, but they are open to suggestions on care, as they only had sponges. I suggest they take out the sponges and just put a shallow water dish in there. I went back the next day and voila! They had taken my advice. They've also followed my advice on feeding, as they only put in one cricket at a time, and remove non-eaten ones within 24 hours. Next I just gotta tell them about substrate.
While I've been here, they've had a fairly wide selection when they get in new ones. They always manage to have a Rosey. I've also seen an A. Versicolor, an A. Avic, an A. Seemani, an OBT, and now a Cobalt Blue.
They even hold sessions with school kids in which I've seen them with the Rosey out and them educating the kids on how Tarantulas are not monsters. From the looks of things, this city may start getting some new Tarantula hobbyists due to Petland. :D
Overall....they're willing to learn, they have some nice species, and I've never seen a sick T there.
