One of my two C. crawshayi juveniles. This one is newly moulted, has a legspan of 115 mm and a bodylength of 55 mm. They rarely moult and when they do, they tend to chew on their shed skin before I get a chance to take a decent picture
Anyway, this looks like a male....or what?

Hi Dan
It is a male...
....but I am sure you posted the picture, just to show off your camera (which BTW I am not at all jealous of!!! :liar: ). ;)

Yep, it seems my bad dream turned out to be for real...it's a male. My only hope is that the other one I have is a female :(

You better not be jealous of it, lol. It's an ancient cp 995, they stopped producing those a long time ago :? I really want a Nikon D70 but they actually cost money :wall:

Just out of curiosity, when do they start showing sexual dimorphism? I remember reading that males tend to look rather different.

Well if the other one is a female is is wiling to mate when she matures.. you could be sitting on a gold mine :P...
Ive heard they produce a lot of slings but then again the female would rather eat the male than mate with him in most cases... lol...
looks male to me, here's a female below ;)
