PETCO:
Tarantula quality: Had some tarantulas, don't now which ind. But I do know the very small critter keepers were constricting, For a adult/ sub adult spider. There was no special heating, one side was so wet it was a death bed, other tarantula side was very dry and unclean. (dirt surrounding walls) where you could hardly see the spiders.
Reptiles: About 20 leos bunched in a 5-10 gallon wide. Very many size differences where cannibalsim could easily occur. 2 dead waterdragons, one holding on for dear life in the water bowl. 1 healthy emerald swift, yet the tank looked very dry. Skunk geckos tank was quite nice, yet dry. Same for tokay gecko tank, and marbled gecko tank. The tokay's tank was quite small for the adult sized tokay though. Bearded dragons were very small, yet healthy looking. They had crickets left in the tank which were perfect sizes. Red bellied toads were bunched up in a 5-10 gallon square tank. Some dead in the waterbowl, a few dead on the soil. 2 sick small garters, and 2 fine garters. Ribbon snake was quite nice though. Some kind of green snake, was quite nice looking. Red tail boas were both very healthy looking, yet they were housed in a 5-10 wide tank and were both small but needed a larger enclosure. Ball python looked Alright. Red eyed tree frogs, they were quite nice and tiny. Green tree frogs were wuite nice and tiny. As well the golden frogs I can''t remember there specific name.
RODENTS: All looked alright.
Fish: FINE
Feeders: Again alright. Yet again with many stores the superworms had no moisture, and the crickets were in a empty trash bin with no gutload.
Supplies: Simple yet alright. Calci sand was a product ofcoarse.......... Same for below....
Petsmart:
I have seen no arachnids of any kind there.
Reptiles: Small selection.
A african fat tailed gecko laying inside plastic side most likely dead. I recently went back there alil bit and it was still laying there looking like it was produceing some white all around the walls it was stuck around.
LEOS: housed on calci-sand. AWFUL! Tiny babies had adult crickets in the calci sanded tanks to top it. All looked healthy, yet probably just a new shipment. The adult hosued by itself was sleeping. I hope...
Baby chameleon: the one with those 3 horns: housed in a small 5-19 allon wide tank yet quite humid, waterfall inside, and was hanging out on a live branch.
Some kind of large turtle: Something that looked like a full grown res in a small 10-15 gallon tank with rocks on one side and water on the other.
Fish: all looked fine.
Rodents: fine
BIRDS: fine
Supplies: A very large selection ranging from dog, cats, reptiles, fish, birds, rodents, a dog pit for tricks and rewards, and a cute animal adoption agency for cats and dogs.
