Neutral leaning towards NEGATIVE
I will separate this review into two sections: Reptiles and Invertebrates.
I will begin with the invertebrates, on which I rate a strong negative:
Their invertebrates do NOT have water dishes, nor do they appear to be regularly misted. Many of the cages had moults left in with the spider (for what appears to be several days), the few cages that were misted had mites. The employees are afraid of their invertebrates (particularly their centipedes), and routinely shake the containers in order to get movement out of the animals to show the customers. I noticed several tarantulas in a death curl (or the beginnings of a death curl). They DO, however, have a nicec range of tarantulas and scorpions, but this selection is moot due to the lack of care they receive.
Their reptiles were much better taken care of, though their lack of care for their invertebrates is enough that I will likely not shop at this store anymore.
They have an impressive selection of reptiles, both snakes and lizards, as well as quite a few amphibians. Surprisingly all of THESE animals had water dishes present (or were misted regularly).
I won't shop at this store again (it is quite a drive from my house too)

I have to agree with u when it comes to the maintence of the of the inverts,it is definitly not the best. Then again, in general I would have to say that they have issues with all animal maintence. In their defence, the last time I went there, the inverts didn,t have water dishs but were well misted.
I have purchased 1 spider (P. regalis) and an african bull frog from them. My spider, I would have to say is in great shape, though my frog died a couple of months ago, no fault on their part.
I would be cautious when buying from them.
I would agree with the other comments on Port Credit Pet center. We looked at all of their selection of T's and found many dead in their empty containers. We were able to get assistance from another customer with regard to best T for us. We were also luck to pick up a T that had just been traded in or we would not have purchased anything.
Any recommendations of locations in the GTA or Hamilton?
Thx
Negative.
Although they sport a decent selection of reptiles, amphibians, and inverts, the last few visits to PCPC left a bad taste in my mouth. As aforementioned, the housing of the tarantulas leaves much to be desired. At first glance, the vertebrates seemed better taken care of. On closer inspection, many cages contained sick, dead, and decomposing animals. Some of their green tree frogs must have been dead for many days. Gross negligence.

I got my rosie there. It took me awhile to get someone's attention so I could look at the Ts. And the person who did service me didn't look very comfortable at all. He also didn't really seem to know what he was doing.
Also looked at their prices online and compared them with many other sites and they seem really pricey! However this is just speculation, and my T seems to be in great shape! I'm looking for another, and I'll be taking my business somewhere else.

Positive +
I like how they have a good selection on big Ts. I have only bought 1 animal from them and that was my Scolopendra subspinipes.

-NEGATIVE-
The store is horrible. Lots of dead animals, run by a bunch of kids. Hardly any had water or were misted. Tons of animals were killed because they were too lazy and decided to house more then one species together sometimes, and like 15 adult beardies are housed in 1 50 gallon at once (some were dead, sadly)

....................................!!!NEGATIVEE!! !!.................................
These guys are CROOKS, jerks & lires! I've delt with them a couple times...but NEVER AGAIN! I've delt with and talked to the owner about getting a few rare inverts and snakes. Which he had promised he could get in within a couple weeks MAX!. Which ended up taking over 9 months!..and he still never ended up getting them in. Also ignoring calls and emails, I was just trying to get stats on the order HE PROMISED he had coming. Not to mention him and everyone else who works there have the personality and attitude of a sick dog!
Even when you walk in the place your over overwhelmed by the smell of what seems like soiled and rotting garbage.
I bought a lid for my 5.5g tank, which was SUPPOSEE TO cost $8.99. The guy helping me even pointed out the price to me when he went to get it for me. When he gos to ring it in, he punches in $24.99 instead! It didnt even occur to me he did that, since I was a little distracted on my cell phone at the same time. It wasnt till I walked out of the store, got back to my car and looked at the recipt that I cought what he did. When I went back, he played stupid and pretended he didnt realize the mistake... BS!
Almost all their inverts are ither dead or DIEING!, just seeing that makes me suspicious of their other animals. BUYER BEWARE...these guys arent worth the risk or service you will get.
I like how they have lots of variety of reptiles and amphibians. Bad thing is that their snakes has mites. So be careful if you wanna buy snakes from them.

Wow, so many negatives!
Well I recently discovered them by their advertisement on Kijiji, so I went to check things out. I didn't see any dead animals or mites, but that's most likely because I didn't thoroughly check things out. You do gotta admit though, they have a very large selection of snakes & reptiles, as well as tarantulas.
The only thing I bought from them so far is the Eco Earth Coconut Fiber Substrate for $11.99. I will be going back today to pickup some superworms and crickets. I'll be sure to look for dead reptiles.
Not a place to go for inverts. The staff doesn't know anything about their inverts and tend to be uncomfortable with them. A couple of the employees I've dealt with have a bit of an air of superiority about them placing inverts and invert people on a lower rung than herps and herp people.
As far as mites on the reptiles go I would always assume that ANY store has mites especially a store with that many stressed and wild-caught animals.

I just would like to point out that the opinions if Dom above are not the opinions of the Dominic Etynkowski that works with Next Year Reptiles. I've had a couple of comments about this now and want to make sure that this is clear. Dominic Etynkowski's handle on forums is Mr. Dom.
Take care all,
Marc

Wow, wish I had read this before making an impulse purchase from these guys at a recent exotic show.
Large interesting selection of animals, and items for sale. Health and condition of animals on display was poor in comparison to other vendors animals.
Animal purchased came with mites, was severly dehydrated, and starved.
We did catch them do the price change thing, we inquired the price on an unmarked item, only to find it marked and priced $20 higher on next pass.
Next show this is one table I plan to avoid.

These guys are a hit and miss...
A couple years ago i bought a pair of corn snakes, one came with mites.... killed them both.
on the other hand... i did buy a emp from them a while ago.... so far its healthy. though it doesnt regularly, this seems to be normal for this species...
a couple days ago i caved and bought a ball python from them.... shes a real sweety, and she seems healthy. but om gonna give it a couple months to see for sure.... she will be the tie breaker..
that aside... i havnt seen any dead animals in there, and they tend to house to many animals in small tanks. All the reptiles had clean but small water bowls, the inverds didnt appear to have any water, but many where recently misted. these are just observations.
Conclusion: BUYER BEWARE (still a bit pissed about the corn snakes)
