indian stick insect (Carausius morosus)

i have recently got a indiant stick insect and want to get its food from me back yard but dont have bramble in me back yard but i have heared that other stick insect types can be fed on ivy and was wondering if i could feed my indian stci k insect on ivy??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Indian Sticks prefer Privet, just walk down the street and pick some from a hedge

just watch out for pesticides / insecticides and gasses coming from cars etc... they'll kill your stick insect in a minute

I wouldn't feed it ivy, ivy contains toxins that would pobably kill it. aside from brambles they'll eat rose bush leaves and rasberry bushes, they will also eat romain lettuce if it is the only thing offered, witch is good beacause it's high in calcium.

ok i will feeed it privit coz we got a big privit bush in me back garden.
yea lol i got a stick insect lol ( igot 2 a indian and a giant spiny!!!) ;P
