Man these guys grow slow. I got a colony of tiny nymphs last year at october, perhaps november. This is the first mature specimen in the tiny colony, so I'm quite excited about him.

Edit: For size reference, that's a U.S quarter next to the guy

I'm awaiting just one of these from Hatari Invertebrates, it'll be living with my lone hisser. Not sure if they're sending a nymph or adult. I had one before, but it died due to molting problems...

roaches

I got some Elliptorhina Chopardi (dwarf hissers) the other day and they are very cool along with many other really rare cool roaches. The giganteus are fun. I only sell nymphs because its more fun to watch them grow. They need more humidity than the hissers. I would sprays yours every day or two and feed fuits and veggies to insure good molting. If the like the giganteus you should try peppereds, they are a fun big roach.

Very true! I had my guys since they were just the size of my fingernails, and it's been real cool watching them get bigger and bigger and bigger :}
