We are doing a carnival type fair at our school. I was thinking of having roach races. Since these are roaches that I feed to my tarantulas and lizards, I need to know if there is anything that I can use to paint their shells without harming them. Any suggestions?

use masking tape and paint that instead of the roach. then remove the tape when your done

you can use a white-out maybe. just dont feed them to your Ts when you do.

Child friendly poster paint.

I used to use it to paint snails and woodlice in my garden when I was younger for experiments. It washes off after a while, give them a rinse and they should be clean.

Try and contact shasta at the ATS, she has done the races for a couple years and has gone down many paths trying to mark them
