what i want to know is where was the leg right before it molted? must have been scrunched up somehow? :wall:

well i purchased this T from a person here on the boards and she was missing a leg, the new leg you see is how much it grew back after one molt.

I've always wondered the same thing! I just don't get it, there is no bulge, it just appears out of nowhere!! :?

Nice regalis by the way! Really quite stunning.

I watched carefully as a few regerated limbs emerged. They appear to be folded against the body. Probably deflated, I am guessing that after emergence they hydrostatically 'blow them up' . BP in a (standing) T = human blood pressure.

It is amazing how they can regenerate missing or damaged appendages.
Now only of humans could achieve the same feat... LOL {D
Beautiful pokie you have there!

thanks for all the compliments {D i am very proud of her growth with this molt, it really is incredible to see that happen especially for the first time, and greg i have to agree that would rule all! if we could regrow our limbs.
