They usually only do that right after a molt, too... And that one looks freshly molted...

Yeah, he molted two weeks ago. Fangs are still very red, that's why his butt is so small. I've never seen any of my other T's laying like that. I thought it was funny. He's actually doing it again right now!

I've just caught my G.Pulchra in the same pose. He (I don't actually know the sex) sat like this for ages so I decided to take a photo. I figured that moving his tank would disturb him but it didn't.

He hasn't moulted for months. Infact I'm hoping he'll get around to it sometime soon so I can tell what sex he really is.

They do that to stretch their leggest to the longest possible size while they harden.

Or so I've read. ;)

Actually, I have seen hundreds of poses like this right after shedding.
Stretched out to harden and rest. 99% of my T's do this.
If this stud muffin wants a date let me know, I have two HUGE adult females that are lonely and need a date.

Well I would love him to have a date eventually (not mature yet) but I live in Canada!
