Thought I'd chuck some of my pics up here for my first post. Been looking through all the pics, You Americans have some nice T's. Wish we were allowed to own the same species over here. But its not good for our environment.

Great pics. Same as you, I wish we could get some Aussie Ts here in the states. Is the spider in the fifth pic a theraphosid?

Hmm??? What??? :confused: I guess, in a round-about way, I was asking if it was something other than a tarantula. It definitely doesn't look like one. It is a nice spider but not a T (at least to my eyes...but that's why I asked).

Sorry guys, I tried to put some more up for you, and I seemed to have made a stuff up. Only just came home from work so I tried putting some more up for you all.Hope they work. David F, the spider I think you are referring to is one I caught recently and no its not a T. I suspect it to be Misgolas montana or Misgolas rapax. Hi kyle, how are you?

I agree. I'd been wondering what Australian Ts looked like...
