Finally! Worms!!

I've been sort of neglecting my mealworm colony for the past month or so, only checking in long enough to add some more oats for the beetles or a little scoop of water crystals.

I decided to really give it a good look the other day, and I noticed that all the oats were gone, the beetles were still alive (I had to remove several dead ones, though), and there were worms in the substrate!

I've been doing this for about two months, I guess. I have no idea how long ago they hatched, but it's working well.

similar thing happened to me. except, i discovered the mealworms after i put my wolf into a tank that belonged to some beetles (they were all dead by then) without changing the substrate.
