This is just too much......here is what happened.
I bought a pair of adult dwarf hiisers from James Tuttle. All my inverts are in the garage in a heated cabinet. Today I went out to check on the dwarfs because the female is gravid. I keep them in a plastic tub painted black with two spaps on the sides to keep the lid on.
When I opened it up, the female was GONE!!!!! I was freaking out !! I searched the cabinet, top, bottom, under ....no sign of here !! I searched every inch of the garage but still could not find here.
Getting more upset by the minut I opened the refrigerator next to the invert cabinet for a nice cold beer to calm me down.......I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!!
She was walking along the refriverator shelf....must have wanted a beer too!
I still can't figure out how she got inside the refrigerator ! Oh well...main thing is I found here and she is fine.
